When is Orientation?
New Student Orientation is Thursday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 25th for incoming Fall 2024 Semester students.
Will there be time during Orientation to set up a bank account, purchase books, or shop for needed items?
Orientation is a busy time of getting acclimated and meeting new people. The more you participate, the more prepared you will be for the year ahead. We recommend using time during your move-in day to accomplish local area goals.
Am I expected to participate in Orientation? What are the benefits? Do I need to register?
All new students are expected to participate in Orientation activities. Orientation is a time to learn about Eastern, how it functions, student life, academics, and begin making friends. No registration is needed.
What do I need to bring?
Will meals be provided during Orientation?
Meal plans start on the first day of New Student Orientation, Thursday, August 22nd.
When is the first day of classes?
The first day of Fall 2024 classes is Monday August 26th.
