May 20: Beaker Brief: From Loving Yourself to Loving Your Neighbor
Join Tori Conicello-Emery '02, masters level board certified music therapist, to participate in an experiential of self-compassion and music. Tori will share how the current research in self-compassion helps us learn to love ourselves so that we CAN love our neighbor well and how loving ourselves well leads to resilience in all aspects of our lives.
Why music? Because music is a powerful tool that can bridge the distance between our hearts and the narratives of our thoughts. You do NOT have to be a musician to participate. Come as you are!
