Candace Stone
Candace Stone is a counselor who cares deeply about making sure students feel seen, supported, and not alone as they work through personal and academic challenges. Her approach is thoughtful and attuned to each student. She believes the work starts with feeling safe and understood, and she meets students with steadiness, honesty, and warmth as they sort through what’s going on in their lives. She strives to create a safe and affirming space for all students, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent students.
Candace earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stockton University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Trauma Studies from Eastern University. She currently serves as a Counselor II, practicing as a master’s level, pre-licensed clinician. Her professional experience includes leadership and roles supporting students, youth, and families in nonprofit and educational settings, as well as experience providing outpatient therapy.
