Cassandra Parrish

Cassandra (Cassie) Parrish is a 2017 alumnus of the MA in Counseling program with a Concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).  She holds a license in Pennsylvania as a Behavioral Specialist (LBS).  Cassie has completed her doctoral coursework in the PsyD in Clinical Psychology program at Immaculata University. Her dissertation is on the biopsychosocial tenets of shame and how clinicians can better recognize and work with shame in psychotherapy practice. Currently, she is completing her year-long predoctoral Psychology internship at Wellspan Philhaven Hospital in Mt. Gretna, PA. Her research interests include: shame, psychodynamic theory and therapy, trauma, psychogenic seizures, therapeutic/collaborative assessment, dissociation and health psychology. Cassie is a member of American Psychological Association (APA), Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA), Therapeutic Assessment Institute, and Society of Personality Assessment. She also enjoys working in private practice, conducting individual psychotherapy and administering psychological assessment batteries.
