Process of Externship for the School of Nursing

Student nurses are strongly encouraged to participate in nursing Externships because it supplements their clinical experiences, builds confidence, provides networking opportunities, and can often lead to future employment. Each employer has different criteria for hire and commitment for hours worked. The School of Nursing posts positions available for nursing students in order to facilitate placements as opportunities arise, and the student is responsible to apply.
