Kyoungwoon Leah Kim, has been a concertmaster for Philadelphia Camerata, and a guest concertmaster for Pottstown Symphony. She participated in Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra, Philadelphia Opera Orchestra, and Pennsylvania Ballet Company orchestra. She has been an artist in residence / adjunct faculty at Temple University, West Chester University, Eastern University, Valley Forge Christian College and West Catholic Conservatory. Ms. Kim is the Music director for the Rebecca Davis Dance Company, an Artistic director of Philadelphia Camerata, and the String Ensemble Director at Archbishop John Carroll High School. Ms. Kim is former associate concertmaster of the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra (S.Korea), has appeared in live broadcast on WQXR (New York Times Radio Station) with Paganini Violin Concerto No. 2 and was featured in STRAD Asia Magazine. Ms. Kim was finalist at Jean Francaix International Competition in Paris and winner of Music Teacher's National Association Competition, recieving the highest score (200 points) in the history of the competition. Ms. Kim has performed as soloist with the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, Pusan Symphony Orchestra (S.Korea), Long Island Symphony, and in Seoul Arts Center, Pusan Arts Center (S.Korea),Osaka Philharmonic Hall (Japan), and the Lincoln Center and Steinway Recital Hall in New York. Ms.Kim holds performance and pedagogy degrees from Juilliard, Peabody Conservatory and Conservatoire de National in Paris.
