

Lisa Trask has over 35 years of experience as a nurse and 27 years of experience as a Certified School Nurse. She graduated with a diploma from Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing and started her career as a bedside nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. Following this, she was a certified ICU/CCU nurse for 5 years. She continued her education with a BSN from Bloomsburg University and Certification in School Nursing from Cedar Crest College.
Lisa earned her MSN degree in Health Care Systems Management from Loyola University New Orleans and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Purdue Global University. She continued to work with children as a school nurse and as a mentor for nursing students from Bloomsburg University until she came to Eastern University. During this time, she continues to work with students in the school environment at a junior/senior high school near her home. She transitioned from being an adjunct school health educator at Eastern University to becoming the Coordinator of School Health Programs. She is currently working toward becoming a nationally certified school nurse.
She was born and raised in Schuylkill County, where she lives with her two children and three grandchildren. In her free time, she gardens, hikes, and attends events with her grandchildren.
