Lisa Trask

Lecturer in Nursing


Lisa Trask has over 35 years experience as a nurse and 25 years’ experience as a Certified School Nurse. She graduated with a diploma from Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing and started her career as a bedside nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. Following this, she was a certified ICU/CCU nurse for 5 years. She continued her education with a Bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University and Certification in School Nursing from Cedar Crest University.

Lisa earned her Master’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans in Health Care Systems Management. She continued working with children as a school nurse and as a mentor for nursing students from Bloomsburg University until coming to Eastern University. During this time she also worked as a weekend supervisor for a Long Term Care center. She transitioned to being an adjunct school health education with Eastern University only to become the Coordinator of School Health Programs. She is currently working toward her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Purdue Global University.

Born and raised in Schuylkill County, she continues to live there with her two children and three grandchildren. She spends most of her free time attending events with her grandchildren.
