Deonna is delighted to join the faculty at Eastern University. She is an actor based in New York City and also teaches in the Theatre Department at Fordham University's Lincoln Center campus.

She has appeared Off-Broadway at The Public Theatre, The Playwrights Realm, and ARS NOVA. Her regional theatre credits include The Guthrie, Arena Stage, Actors Theatre of Louisville's Humana Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Two River Theater, The Kennedy Center, and others. She has had the pleasure of originating several roles and has spent significant time developing new work through workshops at The O'Neill, Page 73, New York Theatre Workshop, The Lark, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and more. She has also collaborated on short films, video game productions, commercials, and voice-over projects.

She is currently developing a documentary exploring the power of storytelling to foster healing and resilience.
