Scholarships are designed to encourage highly motivated musicians to excel in their development and education.

• Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis
• Each scholarship is renewable yearly subject to satisfactory completion of courses in one of the music major programs
• Acceptance of music scholarship requires participation in an approved departmental music ensemble
• Prospective candidates are required to complete the application to Eastern University before auditioning.
• Alternate audition dates may be arranged if necessary, with preference being prior to April 1.

Please be aware that any Music, Dance, or Theater Scholarships, Arts Division Awards, and Activities Awards will replace any Merit Scholarships.
