ST. DAVIDS, PA: Eastern University has been ranked among the best Christian colleges in the country for 2017. The ranking from College Choice, a leading authority in college and university rankings and resources, put Eastern among the 50 Best Christian Colleges and Universities.
According to College Choice, the ranking is based on institutional reputation, graduation rates, selectivity, and faculty resources. The data from their ranking comes from the National Center for Education Statistics' IPEDS database, U.S. News & World Report, Payscale, and individual college websites.
In the description of Eastern University, College Choice noted that, "At Eastern University, students study with professors who are recognized for their hard work and research. The faculty has over 300 publications and have received esteemed awards like the Lindback Awards for Excellence in Teaching, Regional Emmy for PBS Documentary and the Olof Palme International Justice Award."
