Eastern Tops PBJ List as #1 Largest MBA Program in Greater Philadelphia

St. Davids, PA: Eastern University is proud to announce that its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program has claimed the top spot on Philadelphia Business Journal’s annual ranking of the largest MBA programs in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Eastern’s Fall 2024 MBA enrollment reached 1,913 students, more than double the second place program (Wharton) and more than triple the third place program (Villanova). A full list of the rankings is included below. This announcement comes shortly after Eastern was named the eighth-largest university in the region by the same publication.

Eastern’s MBA program offers graduate students flexibility, affordability, and a high-quality, accredited education. Students can follow the general MBA track, or choose from six different concentrations in business analytics, global sustainable development, healthcare administration, human resources, marketing, or project management.

“We are thrilled to see our MBA program recognized as the largest in Greater Philadelphia. Our program is designed to provide an education that is rigorous and comprehensive, yet accessible for busy professionals and those with other obligations. This ranking reflects the dedication of our faculty and the drive of our students to grow, lead, and transform both their careers and society.”

Dr. Christa Lee-Chuvala, Dean of the College of Business and Leadership

Philadelphia Business Journal’s methodology is based on total program enrollment, including full-time and part-time students. Data is collected from the schools themselves through questionnaires.
