Women's Volleyball earned a second-straight MAC Commonwealth title and a bid to the NCAA Tournament, while Coach Birtwistle picked up his 800th career win and 23rd conference championship.

Dr. Chris Mahan, currently Vice President for Institutional Planning and Effectiveness (IPE), has agreed to expand her role to become the Chief of Staff and Vice President for IPE beginning January 3, 2023.

This Fall for the first time in the school’s history, Eastern University enrollment surpassed 5,000 students, with Fall 2022 enrollment reaching 5,430 students on September 15. 

Eastern Football will host their first home event, a scrimmage on Friday, October 7 at 4 pm, as part of Eastern’s Homecoming Weekend.

Eastern has experienced a 52% increase in total enrollment over the last two years. From Spring 2020 to Spring 2022, the university grew from 3,174 to 4,815 students.
