

St. Davids, PA: Eastern University is excited to announce a new Direct-Entry Master of Science in Nursing, starting in Fall 2026. This program prepares students with non-nursing bachelor’s degrees to earn the following credentials and degrees within Eastern’s one comprehensive program:
- RN license (awarded by the state)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
This innovative 75-credit program can be completed in only two years. During the first four semesters, students will spend two days on campus per week, combining clinical activity and online learning. During the final two semesters, students will complete their MSN 100% online.
Taught by expert faculty, the rigorous curriculum merges theory with real-life clinical experience in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Classes include Mental Health & Illness, Maternal-Child Nursing, Chronic Illness, Pediatric Nursing, and many more.
Graduates of the program will be equipped to work within the healthcare system in a variety of settings, including higher education, healthcare organizations, and throughout the global nursing community. Options for employment include unit-based staff nursing, unit charge nurse, community nursing, occupational health nursing, clinical educator, clinical adjunct for nursing programs, and more.
