The BS in Environmental Science at Eastern University prepares students for law, regulatory, non-profit, and policy work, as well as environmental education. The Environmental Science degree is interdisciplinary, which means students do not just take science courses, but also have the opportunity to take courses in economics, political science, mathematics business, and philosophy. Students are required to take upper-level biology courses in ecology, environmental issues, environmental regulation and policy, and will choose from a wide selection of field biology courses.
The Minor in Environmental Science at Eastern University includes courses in general biology, ecology and environmental regulations and policy, amongst others, to prepare students to examine our environmental problems within an ecological worldview.
