The Master of Education in School Health Services is committed to preparing professionals to function effectively in settings in which children and youth are served. The mission of the program is to produce outstanding health professionals who are committed to meeting the needs of a diverse population and to their holistic development.
The successful completion of the Certification in School Health Supervisor program will prepare Certified School Nurses to supervise school health services in the elementary and secondary levels (K-12). Candidates must hold a School Nurse Certification and have completed five years of satisfactory experience in the school setting.
The Certification in School Nurse professional education program is offered fully online and meets the requirements for the Education Specialist 1 (K-12) Certification in School Nurse in Pennsylvania.
